HP Mini 311 and Compaq Mini 311c NVIDIA Ion based netbooks leaked

Remember we'd told you about the upcoming HP Mini 311 (pictured above) and Compaq Mini 311c netbooks a week ago? Looks like HP is moving pretty swiftly with its newest babies and is all set to go official with them in coming weeks.


Though both of them sports different designs, as far as specification is concerned they're all same. In Europe it'll be branded as the Compaq Mini 311c while in the rest of the world it'll be known as Mini 311c.


According to a leak on Notebook Italia, these netbooks are based on NVIDIA's ION platform, and feature 11.6" widescreen display.

Other features include Intel Atom N270 processor (1.6GHz), 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 11.6" LED LCD display, webcam, 5in1 card reader, 802.11bg wireless, 3x USB ports, Ethernet, Bluetooth, HDMI, VGA, and Windows XP.

No word on exact pricing, but they should cost no more than $500.
