Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is an upcoming film based on the 2003 video game of the same name. The film is directed by Mike Newell, produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, Ben Kingsley, and Alfred Molina. Filming is taking place in the United Kingdom and Morocco. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is scheduled to be released on May 28, 2010.
A few months back, UK-based fan Venetia Sarll posted sketches of John Abraham posing as the Prince of Persia and kept demanding that all the John fans should start an online campaign to appeal for John being taken as the hero.
