Hitachi CP-X2010 3LCD Educational Projector

Hitachi CP-X2010 3LCD Projector: Which sports a 2,200-lumens brightness rating along with a 500:1 contrast ratio. Native resolution is set at 1024x768, with lamp life rated at 5,000 hours in Eco Mode or 3,000 hours in standard mode. CP-X2010's built-in speakers provide 16W of output, and for the hearing impaired or really loud environments, closed captioning functionality is integrated.

The projector has been designed with classroom use in mind, and when it's set to Whisper Mode, the CP-X2010 produces just 29dB of noise. The maintenance schedule is relaxed thanks to a 4,000-hour hybrid filter. Hitachi's own My Buttons feature lets users create shortcuts to any projector command by pressing two buttons simultaneously.

For security, there is a feature called the Transition Detector, which requires a password be input before the projector can be operated if it has been moved from a fixed position. A password can be set to otherwise lock it out, while a security bar lets user attach a heavy chain to it to help prevent theft. Connections include component, composite and S-Video, with HDMI left out in order to keep costs down and also because high-definition resolutions are not supported. No specific release dates or pricing information have been released by Hitachi for its CP-X2010 projector.
