Philips LightFrame 22-inch T Monitor

Philips Europe announced two new 22-inch monitor called Philips LightFrame T monitor. Thess new wide screen monitor comes with a big glowing cool blue frame that promises to reduce eye strain.


The 22 inch Philips LightFrame T monitor is featured with a contrast ratio of 12,000:1, 300cd/m2 of brightness, a response time of 5ms and a resolution of 1680 x 1050 pixels. Moreover, this widescreen LCD monitor also contains VGA and DVI-D ports with a support for HDCP and also includes USB. Furthermore, the SmartImage technology of the monitor helps in enhancing the contrast level. It is also responsible for enhancement of the saturation of color and sharpness of videos and images.

Besides, the LightFrame T monitor is featured with another high end technology, the TrueVision Technology that helps you adjust and fine tune your monitor in a much better way. The most important part of this widescreen LCD monitor is that it is surrounded all over by a frame, which emits a cool blue light from within. As the features, this emission helps in reducing your eye strain and frees from fatigueness of your eyes, which turns out to be a major issue with most of the monitors.

As its reviews, the Philips 22 inch LightFrame T monitor is set for its launch in UK and is expected to be retailed from early July with a price tag of £175 or $285.

Eyestrain is often caused by excessively bright ambient lighting — either from outdoor sunlight coming in through a window or from harsh interior lighting. For the most comfortable computer use, ambient lighting should be about half as bright as that found in most offices.
